OOC: At the beginning of this round, Gaderon's globe of invulnerability winks out.

IC: Kherim jumps forward and attacks again, but all his attacks miss Rahotep, whose protection from good circle is still active.
Sol is a bit more lucky. One of his swings can't be avoided by the mummy and bites deep into its rotted remains, dealing 16 points of damage.

Chance for a critical hit: 78

Eilkhan comes out of invisibility again and attacks with her short sword, but misses.

Also stepping forward again, so that Rahotep is now encircled by four of you once again, is Ahi, casting yet another heal spell in hope to be successful this time, but alas he misses too.

For the first time in this battle, you all get the impression that Rahotep starts becoming worried. He looks severely wounded by now, and even though his incredibly fast regenerative power heals him all the time, the damage you deal out to him starts to sum up. Perhaps it is because of this or because he's confident enough in his superior fighting skills, that he risks to cast another spell, thus allowing the four of you attacks of opportunity on him.

[Sir C, I had a typo when I did my damage dice rolls, +81 rather that +8, so I subtracted 73 from each roll...]

"Everybody, back off!"

Gaderon will shoot another lightning towards Rahotep - or rather, the pillar behind the undead, hoping that, if not the spell, then the falling debris will harm the pharao.

Since Gaderon is on the attack, Kherim and Ahi will step back and take this round to do some healing for anyone who needs.

Round 10

"Everybody, back off!"

Kherim, Eilkhan and Ahi jump back to get out of the way. Ahi and Kherim realize that the thief could need a bit of healing, as could Gaderon. But the wizard is of course out of reach.

Gaderon is ready to fire the lightning bolt from his staff, but he must hold it back, because Sol seems to be in a fighting frenzy, not backing off but attacking Rahotep furiously. And he hits. Twice, Tizona cuts through the rotting bandages and causes 25 points of damage!

Two chances for critical hits for Sol: 34, 36

Then the warrior retreats to make room for Gaderon's spell. But evil Rahotep, who looks seriously weakened now, uses the moment while Sol retreats and Gaderon must still wait, to cast a quick spell himself, and darkness falls upon the battlefield.

As long as the darkness persists, Gaderon will be unable to fire his lightning bolt.

Depending on what makes more sense, Gaderon will either cast "Continual Light", or "Dispel Magic" - as the mage might well know what would work better on this situation, but the malevolent spirit that controls him might not.

Sol will resume his attack so Rahotep does not have a chance to regenerate his damage in peace, hoping that the lights will come back on. [If not, please adjust the to hit rolls appropriately]

Current round:

Ahi activates his Talisman of True Sight and directs Sol and Kherim to the attack. He prefers not to attack himself as he's more vulnerable than the fighters.

Kherim shifts to his scimitar and attacks, making it harder for Rahotep to focus on Sol alone.

The power of his magical talisman enables Ahi to witness Rahotep becoming gaseous and slowly drifting back. Of course Sol's attacks are all misses under these circumstances. Gaderon's continual light dispels the darkness just seconds later, but Rahotep has already disappeared - for all of you except for Ahi, who can clearly see the small cloud drifting up to the ceiling of the hall, all the while retreating.
