Now that everyone is away from Rahotep, Ahi tells everyone to move away a couple of steps so he can cast a Flame Strike on the mummy.
Since Gaderon is away enough, and after everyone backs away, Kherim casts a silence spell on Rahotep.
Both act after Gaderon has acted of course.

You all react fast enough to get out of reach of the deadly blades before they cut you to pieces. Still, each one of you suffers 20 points of damage.

Rahotep, safe inside his circle of blades, casts a comparatively simple spell while regenerating his wounds. His hold person is centered on Kherim, Ahi, and Sol.
OOC: Yet another saving throw for the three, this time with a WIS bonus in addition to the others.

Shortly after Rahotep's spell, Gaderon attempts to dispel all the magics on the evil one. Because of the area of effect of dispel magic, there are several of your own spells affected too. As a result, the blade barrier is dispelled, but so is your prayer, and the aid spell on Sol. Luckily, all of your other spells resisted.

Then Ahi casts flame strike on Rahotep. The mummy, obviously surprised by the sudden and unexpected disappearance of the blade barrier, is unable to move aside and is engulfed by the roaring pillar of flame.

For the first time, you get the impression that Rahotep is significantly damaged. But Eilkhan is too.....

"Someone have a healing spell or potion for me?" she yells.

OOC: what about the silence spell on Rahotep? Did that work?

For the next round, if Kherim can reach Eilkhan he will cast a Cure Serious Wounds on her (from scroll), while Ahi will cast another Flame Strike (from scroll again).

Otherwise, or if Ahi's spell would prevent an action from Sol, Kherim will attack Rahotep again, while Ahi will reach Eilkhan and cure her.

OOC: Damn... forgot about that one...

IC: Kherim's silence spell is canceled by Rahotep's magic resistance.

Rahotep's magic resistance:

Sol will drop the bow and draw his sword again closing to resume the melee.

Gaderon produces a second magic wand, launching a lightning bolt against Rahotep, from his Staff of Power!

A lightning bolt flies from the top of Gaderon's staff and hits Rahotep, but either the mummy is immune to electrical attacks, or once again its magic resistance has protected him.

Kherim runs over to Eilkhan, healing a few of her wounds.

Cure serious wounds: 7

Ahi is able to complete his flame strike spell, but this time, it causes no damage - most likely also because of the magic resistance of Rahotep....

While Eilkhan turns her ring and becomes invisible again, Sol runs over to Rahotep and furiously attacks him with Tizona, hitting twice for a total of 25 points of damage.

Rahotep attacks Sol back with a blow of his mummified fist, and with his crook. Both attacks hit,causing a total damage of 29. The touch of the mummified fist also feels somewhat numbing...... OOC: Sol needs to make a ST vs paralyzation

Running out of effective ways to harm the mummy, or to defend his friends, Gaderon launches another lightning bolt against Rahotep.

If anything, the impact of the blast might perhaps stun the undead...

An idea begins to form in Gaderon's head... Let's see what effect the spell might have...

Sol will continue his attack, hoping that the others will come in and attack Rahotep from the flanks while he keeps him busy.
