Gaderon, who had figured this was coming, will cast a Detect Invisibility spell after wherever Rahotep - acting this way, because he doesn't see the gas cloud.

Seeing that Rahotep has vanished again, Sol looks back at Gaderon "This isn't working. He vanishes and regenerates while we get weaker. Let's go back to Theban and recover, then return and take him down. Can you teleport is back?"

Kherim casts down his sword dispirited.

"I have to agree with you. Although we almost made it. But let's come back stronger, we now know better how to tackle the thing down."

Ahi meanwhile tries to look where the Rahotep escapes to. He uses his True Sight power to the most of its possibilities, hoping that includes seeing through cracks into adjacent rooms. (I can always hope!)

Ahi can easily follow the nearly-invisible haze that is Rahotep. It drifts along the ceiling, then down past Gaderon, and towards the destroyed vault at the bottom of the pit. Ahi will lose sight contact there, unless he wants to grab the rope that still hangs there to quickly follow Rahotep.

Ahi makes a note of what he sees and says to the others:

"The creature is escaping to its coffin. It will probably regenerate there. Anyone knows how long it will take to rebuild its solid form? Maybe we still have strength to deal a final blow before it recovers for good!"
