I would suspect that Kherim and Sol are automatically inside the Major Ward. Flying as he is, Gaderon might well be out and able to cast spells. So Kherim will take this chance to climb out of the pit.

Sir C, the spell description is not clear to me: can PCs pass through the ward inwards or outwards?

Round 1

Condemned to inactivity inside the major ward for the moment, Ahi, Kherim, and Eilkhan watch Gaderon take on the evil one all by himself.
Chanting the magical invocation for a delayed blast fireball, the wizard suddenly feels that something is trying to get hold of him. Rahotep's glowing eyes capture his view, and... OOC: ST vs magic: 11 .
The powerful protections around Gaderon prevent him from falling under Rahotep's influence. Finishing his spell, the fireball detonates only one or two seconds later. Sol, who is climbing into the secret passage, feels the heatwave rolling over him, reaching even inside the pit. The passage lies empty and unchanged before the warrior. Nothing and no one has appeared here.

Gaderon's fireball engulfs the mummy and causes terrible damage, but Rahotep seems to be protected from fire, and only takes half damage (36 hit points).

"Now! He's hurt!" - Gaderon, still flying, follows the fireball with a Chain Lightning.

It might do little more than to slow Rahotep down, but this way, the group might still get its gambit.

Sol will climb up behind the others. He will then get out his bow.

Round 2

Rahotep initiative: 2

Reacting quicker than Rahotep, Gaderon hurls another destructive spell at the mummy. His chain lightning dances back and forth in a deadly arc between the evil one and the pillar to his right, but Rahotep seems to be immune to its energies. Standing in the midst of the thundering lightning bolts, Rahotep raises his arms to the ceiling, letting out a terrible laughter, and then casts a spell that invokes a fire storm in the whole area away from him, including the sunken chamber. Sheets of roaring flame howl through the hall, burning everything that touches them.

OOC: No new map needed. Everybody inside the major ward is safe from harm. Sol and Gaderon, however, are affected, as the spell is too powerful for Gaderon's globe of invulnerability. The flame walk spell that protects you, gives you a ST bonus of +2. The prayer spell gives another +1, and the protection from evil on Gaderon another +2 for both himself and Sol, for a total of +5. I'll wait for Greg to make the ST for Sol and will make the roll for Gaderon, as usual. Sol will be out of the pit at the end of this round and may act in the next. Depending on the fire damage, of course....

Sol's ST: 16

Sol will climb the rope and prepare himself to rush Rahotep as soon as the ward comes down. Planning to bash him with his shield to disrupt any spell casting.

Ok, Better be careful here then. Kherim lets Ahi throw the Holy Water that he has gathered and charges Rahotep as well when the ward comes down.

Gaderon, sinking down the pit behind Sol, presumably so he can be healed by Kherim, will cast a wave of Disintegrate against Rahotep.

Round 3

Sol jumps out of the pit as soon as the ward disappears and starts running towards Rahotep, while Gaderon casts desintegration at the mummy, who easily dodges the destructive ray.

Rahotep's ST: 14

Kherim's waterskin, filled with two vials worth of holy water hits Rahotep, but only very little holy water actually pours out of the small opening of the waterskin on the undead creature.

Kherim's attack: 22
Holy water damage: 4

Eilkhan turns her invisibility ring once again, and disappears from sight.

As Sol reaches Rahotep, the evil one is in the midst of casting a spell, and so the warrior bashes his shield at him, but misses.
(OOC: What type of shield is Sol using? I couldn't find any on my admittedly not up-to-date character sheet of him.)

Sol's shield attack: 13

Finishing his spell, Rahotep reaches out and touches Sol, his touch draining the warrior of almost all of his lifeforce.
(Sol loses all of his hit points except for 3.)
