The Wayfarer's Inn

A shiver runs through Gaderon's body.

"I think some of Ivid's lifeforce just... Touched me, somehow."


Then, he blinks.

"Where... Where am I? What... What is this place?"

Kherim looks strangely at Gaderon.

"Are you alright? It seems like you had a blank for a while. You're still where we were a minute ago, fear not, you have not lapsed unconscious.

You know, we just had this battle with a huge statue of a scorpion that seemed activated by a statue of Rahotep... Plus there were these other 10 statues that radiated evil, but you dispelled their magic and they didn't attack us. I'm sure you'll remember."

Kherim goes back to his preparations, while occasionally keeping an eye on Gaderon to make sure he's well.

You all spend an uneventful six hours of rest - long enough to replenish your spellpower but of course not long enough to feel rested. The stench of the rotting undead corpses is what finally drives you away from this place again.

OOC: Time to pick new spells and complete the healing.

Some time in between, Gaderon will suddenly sit up, and ask, as if into the void:

"Where's Ivid? Where are the others?"

Assuming that we are all healed and Sol still has his potions of extra healing, he will give one each to Ahi and Kherim, leaving one for himself.

Ahi casts two CLW on himself and Kherim.

Ahi is at full hit points, Kherim is 1 less from maximum.

Gaderon will spend the pause in meditation, but after he's finished, he starts to wander around, rather restlessly.

It is obvious that something is not well with him; but whatever makes him this edgy, he will not disclose it to the others. For now.

Sol says "Are we ready to take on Rahotep himself?"

Gaderon silently scowls at Sol, then resumes his endless turns.

OOC: let's just see if Rafe agrees with changing spells or not. Sir C, would this room allow a creature of 12' or 18' tall to fight?
