Gaderon will prepare the spell... And also keep a certain lightning spell in the back of his mind, should the creature appear too close by.

One hand engulfed in tiny flames, the other in small sparks of electricity, the wizard awaits his turn...

Ahi activates his Talisman of Sight to try and see the creature, and backs away while throwing a flask of holy water in its direction. Kherim also retreats, and cries to Eilkham to do the same.

Round 2

While the others are hurriedly retreating to get out of the danger zone, Ahi activates his talisman and suddenly sees the Sekem again. Still two-dimensional, it stalks Kherim quietly, obviously trying to catch the paladin by surprise from behind. A flask of holy water will likely have no effect under these circumstances as the Sekem is two-dimensional and therefore not fully on this plane right now. Ahi must wait until it "turns sideways" again to reappear in order to attack.

OOC: As the others still have no clue about the Sekem's location, Ahi is right now the only one able to somehow react to its presence. That being said, I'm leaving you guys for two weeks of summer holidays with my family. I'll be back on sunday the 27th, which means that you have plenty of time for intricate strategies... See you then!

Ahi cries to all others to suggest them where the creature is, at the same time as he tries to interpose himself between the thing and the party. If he has no power to attack, he at least tries to turn away the shadow. He acts defensively, not wanting to be hit.

Sol will move around to the top of the map and face where Ahi indicates the thing must be, looking carefully to see if he can detect it. He will try to use Tizona to determine of it is magical (casts detect magic on it), if at all possible.

Gaderon will not attack, but keep his magic energies channeled. If he gets a clear target, he will fry the enemy with his chain lightning...

Round 2

Acting quicker than the shadowy figure before him, Ahi interposes himself between the Sekem and Kherim while pointing out its location to his companions. His attempt to turn the thing unfortunately proves fruitless as it doesn't react to the presence of his holy symbol. Instead it seems to change its mind, turns quickly sideways and attempts to attack Ahi. It would have hit him too, were it not for the holy protection aura surrounding his friend Kherim behind him that extends outward around Ahi, preventing the thing to touch the priest.

Sekem's attack: 7

As the Sekem is in plain view now, Sol changes his plan and quickly strikes out at it with Tizona, (OOC: I suppose that's okay with you, Greg?) hitting the Sekem thrice. Eilkhan, who has positioned herself next to Ahi, tries the same with her shortsword, but she misses

Sol's attacks: 12,14,23

As much as Gaderon would like to fry the thing with his chain lightning, it's way too dangerous for him to cast such a devastating spell in such close conditions. The arcs of lightning would most likely spread out towards the mail-clad Kherim and Sol, damaging them probably even worse than the Sekem.

I do not remember if there is any spell effect going on. I suppose we must have had the Heroes' Feast, that gives a bless effect. In that case, please add +1 to attack rolls everyone. I have not included that in the above rolls (nor below).

Gaderon will, again hold back. Nearly all spells he could use would possibly cause collateral damage.

So, keeping concentrated - and waiting. And if he gets a clean target... Then, unleash all the anger and the magic inside him...
