OOC: Prayer is - in my understanding - a pure combat spell and therefore adds its bonus in combat situations only. Your saving throws are all successful anyway, even for Kherim because of his +2 universal bonus to all saves.

OC: The tilting of the floor is slow enough for all of you to react quickly and jump aside or levitate up (Gaderon) to avoid falling into the pit. Breathing heavily, you dare to look in it. It turns out to be not a pit, but a small and odd-shaped room of sorts, about 30' below, and of about 10'x20' in size. It appears virtually empty from your vantage point, but all walls of the place are adorned with inscriptions and figures. The air in there is stale, and dust covers everything. Directly beneath you, the wall looks different from the rest of the room, but you can't make out any details from up here.

Kherim's heart beats faster as the paladin feels them approaching their goal.

OOC: incidentally, does Kherim feel any evil down here stronger than the generic in this tomb?

He looks for a way to safely go down.

Ahi adds:

"However we descend, we should provide a way to come back up again. Do we have enough rope?"

Kherim can indeed feel a very strong evil down there, although it doesn't come from the small chamber itself, but from the area directly beneath him - perhaps even from some heretofore unknown hidden area there....

"My rope still hangs in that hall where we needed to climb down the wall", says Eilkhan. "Shall we take yours, Ahi?"

Sol says "We can use my rope..." as he pulls a 50' length of silken rope and a grappling hook from his haversack and looks around for a place to attach it.

Sol finds a good place for the hook at the upper edge of the tilted floor section.

"Before we go", Kherim says, "you should know that there is a very strong evil down there. This could be the end of our quest indeed, so maybe we should wait and go down only at the top of our strength!"

Sitting down, Sol says "Ok, we can take a break, until everyone is well rested again. I'll stay awake and keep my eyes open for any new dangers..."

Your last rest isn't long ago, so your spellcasters only need a few hours of meditation to regain their spell power. Nothing happens in that time

Gaderon waits until everyone is healed, and ready to go, then nods to his friends in affirmation.
