Accompanied by two strong slaves from Gaderon's household, Eilkhan leaves for the fence soon thereafter. About two hours later she returns and tells you that she would be able to net about 70.000 drachma for the loot. "It seems like an awfully bad price, but that's what happens when you deal with fences, you know. I let you decide this, but perhaps it might be better to try to pay the priests directly with the gems. We should take care though not to display any items that will obviously cry out 'Tomb Raider' to them."

Ahi nods.

"Very well, then. It doesn't surprise me I don't know much about how the underground market works", he smirks.
"Let's try with the priests, then."

The clergy of the great Temple of Thoth, the God of Knowledge and Magic, is more than interested to hear of your exploits in Rahotep's Tomb again. When you tell about your encounter with the Sekem of Rahotep they are very concerned, because to them it is unheard of that a mortal has found a way to split the nine parts of his person and to allow them to roam the world each by itself. It has been the second time that you encountered one of these parts (after the Khu), and they fear that you will likely face others. What sounds promising to them is that you were able to destroy the Sekem. This loss of his person should weaken what remains of Rahotep, so he might be easier to defeat himself.

The clerics gladly take the gathered loot from you and provide you with magical papyrii instead.

OOC: Which spells are you interested in?

After purchasing three clerical papyrii from the priests of Thoth, you return to Gaderon's house. Three days have passed since you left the tomb, and you all feel refreshed enough to dare another trip there. Perhaps this time for the final confrontation?

Has Ahi used the scroll to restore his wisdom? If that doesn't work, can Gaderon provide a wish to do it (he has that as a 7th level spell)?
