Sol says "That was interesting. Shall we go back and try the third portal? The one that was near where the prisoners were kept? Or have we had enough of this vampire chamber?"

Sol and Gaderon will return to the vampire chamber and go over to the third portal, waiting for the others when they get there.

Ivid and Elmo will follow, of course.

The archway leads you to a most confined area: The end of a low and narrow crawlspace, leading to unknown parts. You're all forced down on your hands and knees to move around here. Suddenly, a swarm of small bat-winged horrors comes flying around the corner and toward you. Each looks like a flying black scorpion!

OOC: Being on your hands and knees means that you're unable use any weapons larger than a short sword in this situation. Piercing and stabbing weapons are about the only ones that can be larger to be used. Spellcasting is possible, but brings about a certain risk of spell failure due to the fact that you're lacking the space for unrestricted movement. Please state your actions for the first round of combat.

Sol will defend himself with his magic dagger (+2). [three attacks +2 for dagger and +3 for damage: 4/4, 20/4, 19/6]

Gaderon will use his wand of magic missiles on the incoming scorpion-bats. [one roll with bo adjustments: 7]

Eilkhan will defend herself with her short sword.
