One by one, you leave the crawlspace and gather in the small room at the top of the stairs. Elmo and Ivid are the last to crawl out of it, when suddenly you all hear an unarticulate gurgling sound emanating from Elmo, and then the big warrior jumps forward, knocking aside Gaderon and Ahi and making a dive down the stairs, head first!

OOC: Kherim, Sol, and Eilkhan all stand at the top of the stairs. Please make a ST (with DEX and/or magic item adjustments, if any) to avoid being knocked down the steep stairs as well. If you are successful, you can then try and make an attack roll directed at Elmo to try and hold him fast. This is dangerous though because Elmo's a big and heavy guy, and the momentum might drag you along down the stairs instead of saving him.....)

Magic Item Bonus: +6 (armor and ring of protection. don't know if these count; +2 bonus from Kherim's Protection from Evil 10' active at all times)

(For the second, I thought it best to roll a clean 1d20 and then add any eventual bonus... or subtract, since this is AD&D and I think (?) the STs are better low than high)

OOC: Just to make two things clear that belong to the 1st edition rules: First, magic armor doesn't bestow ST bonusses, and second protection from evil only counts against evil attacks. It's not a universal ST bonus. As Elmo's dive down the stairs isn't an evil attack (although his strange behaviour is likely because of evil influences), I fear that the bonus doesn't count here. Still, everybody is successful with his or her STs, and so the question arises: Does someone wish to try and get a hold on Elmo before he flies down the stairs? If so, please make an attack roll to see if you can catch him, followed by a STR-Check with 4d6 to see if you can hold him without being dragged down yourself.
