The Wayfarer's Inn

Eilkhan notices that the seams of both doors are completely sealed with a material that might be hardened bitumen.

Assuming Eilkhan relates that to the rest of the party, Ahi notes

"It's the first time we find a sealed door, is it not? Breaking the seals might allow something to escape the room even without opening the door. Perhaps we should get ready for an eventual fight here in the corridor?"

Sol prepares himself with his sword in his left hand and the warhammer in his right. As he does so, he uses the sword's powers to cast detect magic on the doors.

"Um. If a door is sealed wouldn't that be the first sign of danger? Also it must be sealed for a reason, right? So, I say we move on and come back to it when we've explored this whole place. Why fight if we do not have to?"

Kherim shrugs doubtfully.

"That is true, Eilkhan, but if this is indeed dangerous, perhaps it is also critical that we destroy it. For all we know, our foe could be here. And since we've arrived here now, we should take the chance to do what we can. We might not be able to return here if we leave now. Besides..." he adds, even more immersed in doubt than before, "I'm not sure there was a way back."

Ahi listens both Kherim's and Eilkhan's point of view. He then comments

"Whatever the group decides."

"I prefer to come back later."

Sol comments "As I recall we are trapped down here and this is the only place we haven't been.
Our options seem to be to go forward into this room or go back and either play with the demons
or try to get past the adaminite bars that were trapping us in the room that burned. I'm for going
forward. Maybe we will find the ultimate evil here and finish our quest..."

Eilkhan sighs. "Very well, suit yourselves. Don't get mad at me when I tell you later "I told you so.""

The thief checks for traps and whatnots then begins the task of removing the hardened bitumen and
then working on the door itself.
