The Wayfarer's Inn

Eilkhan slowly moves towards the end of the corridor, searching for traps along the way. As she reaches its end, she notices something odd: Touching the far wall in whatever fashion (scratching, tapping etc.) produces no sound at all. There's some kind of magic at work here...

Returning to the others she relates her find. "Maybe a hidden passage or secret door, hidden by magic?"

"Hmm, I'm thinking we should check out that passage first," Ahi offers.

Gaderon steps up while seemingly in deep thought. "Depending upon the magics on this wall I may have one or two spells that could work... But I would rather move with the group for the time so tell me what you all have decided."

Gaderon in the meantime looks from the distance at the wall rubbing his beard and mumbling to himself... "No sound!?! I think it might be..."

Kherim eyes the hall suspiciously, "I can attempt to call upon Horus to disrupt the magic."

Hearing Kherim, Sol will prepare himself for combat, setting down the spear and drawing his sword. Placing himself between the mystery wall and the others in the party.

"I do have the ability to use my Talisman of True Sight once more today, but am loathe to use it until we have to," Ahi says thinking out loud, "perhaps we should see how you fare first Kherim."

Nodding, Kherim moves down the hall to it's apparent terminus and then solemnly begins to call upon the power of Horus to disrupt the magic at work.

OOC: Dispel Magic

Kherim's spell indeed dispels the magic on the wall, and more than that: It lets the the wall vanish completely! What was apparently only an illusion now reveals a probably real wall a few feet behind it. Engraved hieroglyphs on it read the following:

"The might of The Set Rahotep clouds the dull minds of those who seek to violate his Eternal House and disturb the happy rest of his physical remains. See without seeing, and leave this place untouched."

Gaderon simply lowers his book from the page he had been examining shaking his head frustratedly... "Perhaps I am slow..." He whispers to himself...

"Well now... Which way do we go? Either way the path is clearer before us now. I vote for continuing on as perhaps the remains rest here! I would have this ended"
