Indeed, Rafe, Rahotep must have so high MR that direct magic attacks have been mostly ineffective.
I don't know if there is anything in 1st Ed that would lower MR in an enemy, or if you have anything that can boost the party instead. Do you have haste, for example?

Nope - what I will do, is to start bombing the ground to Rahotep's feet, though.

That's a good use of a spell like stone shape, for example, to create a prison, even a cave in over an enemy.
But remember we are around there, and with magic ineffective, we can only bring it down by pounding on it and pounding hard. That means, melee range.

So will Gaderon stick to that plan, Rafe?

We seem to be letting Rahotep get away and regenerate all the time, while we continue to get worn down. Maybe we should go back to Theban and heal and then come back and attack him relentlessly until he is destroyed...
