The concert took place in a tiny club that night, in front of an audience of about 150 people which made it crowded. He played for nearly two hours, old songs from the 70s and 80s mainly, but also a few brand new titles plus a set of blues classics on the slide guitar. He's truly an exceptional guitarist and had a very good band at his side that night. It was a damn good concert.

Travers never was a big name over here and not many people remember him from his great time in the late 70s. Is he still popular in Canada?

Yes but I think only to a real music fan. I have most of his cd's and he is one wicked quitarist. Slide players are few and far between which are good. I really like Derek Trucks and of course my all time favorite Johnny Winter.
