I hope I'm not oversteppping the bounds of hospitality here, but readers might be interested in looking at the draft text for my upcoming Holmes clone, Blueholme Prentice Edition. This is mainly for those interested in proof-reading or play testing, as the final PDF will be free and beautified anyway, so you'r better off waiting for that if you just want to play with it. But I'd be very grateful for any constrictive feedback!

Sometimes people just need to be constricted or they'll never get their creation out there <coughGeorgeRRMartincough>.

The text for the Prentice Rules is done bar a final proofreading (something to do on next week's business trip), so now I'm concentrating on converting the introductory module kindly made available by J.B. of . Christmas release looks pretty feasible at this point. :D

Thanks! The public domain art is mainly by , who illustrated Andrew Lang's "Fairy" books. His work is fantastic (in every sense). I had great fun matching his illustrations to the text. My favourite is the fighting man hiding behind a girl in the Experience section (p.54):

"Player characters who cover behind their hirelings in combat should not receive full XP for that encounter."

Teazia on Dragonsfoot has done a great job in collection fantasy PD art in one place: https://picasaweb.google.com/FreeDnDART
