Such is the tagline on the back of the Alternity Player's Handbook, and I find that Alternity makes a great multigenre engine.

In a setting where magic and technology work side by side (or even hand in hand), the game's core mechanic handles things aeamlessly. Magic, lasers, dragons... I could even throw space travel in there, and wouldn't even cause a hiccup.

I'll admit, I had my reservations about trying a magitch game. I am happy to say that TSR's last attempt at sci fi is holding its own.

Have you gamed in Blackmoor's future ages? What systems have you used, and what challenges has the setting posed for you as a GM or player?
