.... that's it? I really hope this isn't one of those "the trailer is the best part of the movie" trailers.

Why, yes, I am hard to please, when it comes to Star Wars.

I hate to say it's a "wasted" teaser, but I can't really tell what's going on in it and it's really short. Other than that, the music is neat. 8)

Not to be all negative about the new material, I wanna say, I like the visuals.

Now, I had the bad luck to stumble over the first leaked images that later on proved to be legitimate, like the trident lightsaber.
If the story spoilers from the same source prove to be legit as well, then, eh, I have a bad feeling about this.

At the same time, I realize one thing, and that is that, strangely, I never defined my experience with the franchise through the movies, but mainly through the zillions of video games and novels that I spent my holidays with as a teen. As in, I am pretty sure I spent ten times more with the Zahn and the X-Wing novels, or playing TIE-Fighter, than I spent with the movies themselves. So, it's not like don't care, but it a different relation, of which the core story forms a significant, but not the major part. Unless Disney really decides to make a movie about the life and times of Baron Soontir Fel, I might well wait for the DVD with this one. - That said, all the power to them, to make a flick that will hopefully be entertaining.
